Clarity - Why the name?
Clarity... What does it mean? According to thefreedictionary.com, clarity means:
1. Clearness of appearance: the clarity of the mountain air.
2. Clearness of thought or style; lucidity: writes with clarity and perception.
If you are for some reason still wondering what it means, I shall attempt to tell you. It means clear, clean, simple, easy to understand, neat etc... That is my definition of it, and I think it is a good one. So, now you ask why my theme is called CLARITY. That is because the theme of the current website you are on is nice and simply, clean, neat, tidy. You may think that this website is ordinary and bland. I like it that way. It makes it nice and easy for you to understand and to read and navigate, and it makes it easier for me to make. :)
Clarity - The History

A history... Hum... Well, it started at the start of 2010. I thought, I need to make a new website. It doesn't look good. (I have that thought rather often)SO I went ahead and started working on a new theme. I got some inspiration (or almost all the code) from the website of my brothers friend. I then started to change it, and when I finally finished it looked something like the screenshot that is linked to the left. That picture there is of the home page. The other screenshot is of a standard page that had content. It was oneday while I was making this site that I thought... "I should make a blog." It was an absolutely genius idea. So when I had completed CLarity 1.0, I went ahead and tried putting it into Wordpress. THis was the first time I had ever tried something like this, but I thought it was worth a shot. I got it all working perfectly, until one day when I was using Yahoo and I searched my name. I discovered that when I clicked on 'blog.thenewtech.net' it tried taking me to a website it shouldn't have. So I did some looking into the problem, and I couldn't discover it. Even my older web developer brother couldn't. So I sent an a support ticket to my hosting, VentraIP. But I was getting impatient, so I deleted the whole sub-domain.(I did keep the theme though.) That was the end of Clarity 1.0. (I was bored of it and couldn't be bothered to fix the problem with the blog) The funny thing is though, I never actually got around to putting any content on the site. It just sat there gathering dust.(I actually don't think it is possible for a website to gather dust).
It was then about halfway through the year that I thought... "Hey! I haven't hade a website for a while." So during a class at school, I showed one of my friends how I wanted to make my new website. He thought that it was interesting. I am still not sure if that was meant to be nice or not. But I soon got underway, and the website started to be built. It looked alright. Again, it was simple, clean and easy to understand. I thought I would call it... Clarity 2.0 (I know, I think of creative names.) This website was going to sort of be in different segments. A header, a menu that came out the side of the content, a footer and the main content area. ALl the elements would come out of the content segment,... if you know what I mean. I also thought that I would use CSS3 curved border things. The website looked cool, so I thought that I would make it into a Wordpress theme. I started that in November of 2010. I got bored for a while, but then I got un-bored. I finished it. It looked good. I then started to write content. That now takes me up to this very point. I can't tell you anymore history, as there is not really anything to say. So... when there is some more history, I will try to remember to upload it onto this very same page.
Clarity - Where can I get it?
The simple answer is: You can't download it anywhere. If you are, however, really desparate get it, you could probably view the page source and try to get it lke that, but it may taky you a while to understand my unusual way of coding.
